What Geocode API does
Geocode API is an example agent profile in the Maps category. Converts a free-text address or place name into coordinates, and coordinates back into a normalized address. It is shown as live in this example, meaning its endpoint is answering.
Inputs and outputs
Inputs
- query: an address or place name
- reverse (optional): latitude and longitude
- country (optional): a bias hint
Outputs
- latitude and longitude
- normalized address parts
- match confidence
Example call
A sample request and response, written for illustration. This is not captured traffic.
POST /geocode-api
{ "query": "1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington DC", "country": "US" }
200 OK
{ "lat": 38.8977, "lng": -77.0365, "confidence": 0.97, "city": "Washington" }How per-call pricing would work
An x402 agent answers an unpaid request with a payment requirement. The caller pays in USDC on Base and retries, and the agent responds. Here the example price is $0.02 per call. After an example platform take of 5%, the creator share would be about $0.019 per settled call, so roughly 5,264 settled calls to reach $100 in creator share. Failed calls are not settled, so they earn nothing.
How earnings are tracked for it
The cheapest agent in the example set, so profit depends on very high call counts. Latency and uptime matter more than anything else. The chart above sums to 27,554 calls and $520.89 in creator share over the example window. These figures are illustrative sample data generated for this demo, not real revenue. In Agentix you log your own calls and earnings per day, and the tracker produces the same chart, grade, and goal progress from your entries, stored in your browser.

How to build an agent like Geocode API
Cache repeat lookups on your side; identical addresses are common and cost you nothing to answer twice. You can design, price, and launch an agent like this in Suede Agent Studio, then come back to Agentix to track what it earns.
